I have created this website for the benefit of students in the 7th and 8th grade at the Oak Bluffs School as well as their parents/guardians. I believe that the internet has amazing resources that students can benefit from. In addition, the internet can be a great way to increase communication between students, parents/guardians, and teachers. This website is designed with these goals in mind and will hopefully become a familiar resources to all Oak Bluffs middle school science students.

There are pages for current assignments, classroom policies, as well as interesting websites about science. In additino, I have posted student’s science podcast projects on this site for you to view.

I will update this site weekly with current homework, assignments, and upcoming test and projects. In some cases I will post pdfs of homework and rubric files so that they can be easily downloaded. (no excuses for missing homework!) If at any time there is confusion on assignments or links please feel free to email me.

In addition, I will be adding website links related to the different units we will be studying. These will include reference sites to help students with assignments as well as the sites I have used in class so that they can be shared with family members or friends at home.

I hope that the format and functions of this website will make your middle school science experience enjoyable and less stressful. I look forward to a great year in science with you!
